Posted 2025-04-24Sales EngineerPOSITION SUMMARYGalt Medical is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team in Garland, Texas. We have been a leading provider of vascular and interventional medical devices for over 30 years, developing and manufacturing a range of products for interventional procedures.Primary functions for this position include being responsible for selling complex, technological, and scientific products through a consultative sales process. Working closely with other members of the sales and marketing teams to develop product sales information and with clients to clarify requirements and provide suitable solutions.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWork with sales team to research potential new prospects, reach out and arrange calls/meetings.Visit and present Galt OEM capabilities to prospective customers.Serve as subject matter expert for current product portfolio to coordinate and arrange technical discussions directly with the customer.Manage all technical aspects of RFP/RFI responses and develop custom quotes for new products and services. Coordinate with engineering team/management as part of process.Present regular sales reporting/ forecasting to management.Manage and lead the Sales Reps within the Sales Department to achieve Sales targets.Grow and develop long-term business relationships with existing customers, together with generating new business, playing an integral role in new business development via presentations updates and new technology demonstrations to existing customers.Follow up on post sale issues to ensure that customer needs are responded to in an efficient and professional manner.Act as the key link between the customer and all relevant Company Departments.Plan, attend and participate in trade shows, meetings, and other company functions as required.POSITION REQUIREMENTSEDUCATION:Bachelor?s degree preferrable with previous sales engineering rolesBackground in design engineering preferrableEXPERIENCE:3 years experience in a similar sales role within a similar industryExperience in the medical device manufacturing industry (FDA regulated, ISO 13485), highly desirableKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIESMust have a high level of teamwork and engagement skills, while at the same time being able to work on their own initiative.Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, excellent attention to detail, with strong problem-solving and planning ability.Must be proficient with computer applications, MS Office etc.Must be available to travel in US and internationally.Job Type: Full-timePay: $96,000.00 - $114,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:Bonus payWork Location: In person
