Technical Sales Representative (Oilfield Cementing) - Midland, TX

About the position

The Technical Sales Representative for Oilfield Cementing is responsible for promoting and selling cementing products and services to existing and prospective customers in the oilfield sector. This role emphasizes building and maintaining strong business relationships, particularly within drilling and completions departments, to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction. The representative will engage in both in-person and telephone communications, develop proposals, and coordinate with various internal teams to meet customer needs effectively.

Responsibilities
? Promote, sell, and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.

? Champion the company's H.S.E.&T program to ensure quality service in a safe and efficient manner.

? Establish, develop, and maintain oilfield business relationships to generate new cementing business.

? Make telephone calls and in-person visits to existing and prospective cementing customers.

? Research sources for developing prospective cementing customers.

? Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for customers.

? Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
,
? Coordinate sales efforts with sales management, accounting, logistics, and technical service groups.

? Analyze the territory's market and determine customer value to the organization.

? Identify advantages and compare organization's products/services.
,
? Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, and competitive activities.
,
? Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, and market conditions.

Requirements
? Experience in technical sales, preferably in the oilfield sector.

? High school diploma or GED.
