Minimum Requirements:

To qualify for this Special Education Teacher position, you must:

Hold an active state Special Education license..

Have a bachelor?s or master?s degree in Special Education.

Be a changemaker as an Adaptive Education Expert in Floresville, TX. Help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities
? Evaluate and address students? unique learning challenges through assessments.
? Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that focus on student strengths.
? Provide instruction in self-contained classrooms to support diverse needs.
? Work with therapists and school psychologists to ensure well-rounded student support.
? Document progress and maintain compliance with all educational standards.

Details & Requirements
? Bachelor?s degree in Special Education or a related field required.
? Valid Alabama Special Education Teaching Certification (or eligibility to obtain) is mandatory.
? Strong organizational and instructional skills are essential.
? Knowledge of Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee process and Individual Education Plan (IEP) goal setting process and implementation - Knowledge of how to adapt curriculum and instruction for special needs ? K-5 students
