Logistics Coordinator (dispatch)

Job description:

? INTERMODAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED *

This is a FULL TIME POSITION. Candidate must be willing to work 40/hrs/wk.

Responsibilities & Expectations:
? Oversee day to day dispatch operations
? Monitoring email and responding in a timely manner
? Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
? Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries
? Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule for the next day or upcoming week
? Must be able to take and follow direction
? Must be willing to be on call nights and weekend (not always, we have an on-call schedule)
? Must be a team player
? Must be able to make quick decisions
? STONG communications skills are REQUIRED (verbal & documentation)
? TEAMWORK
? Multitasking
? Minimum skill of 40 WPM preferred.
? Directional skills is a plus
? Can work well under pressure
? Emotional Control
? Reliable, references will be checked.
