About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an Executive Director, Senior Lead Securities Trader to join our Credit Portfolio Trading and Optimization (CPTO) group within Corporate & Investment Banking. The Executive Director role is a senior trading role with a focus on optimizing the Loan Portfolio, developing and setting strategy for the franchise, recruitment and development of talent. This candidate key responsibilities are trading, pricing and risk managing CPTO positions for Wells Fargo?s loan book. The role involves a high degree of partnership across the platform to provide risk management solutions. In this role, you will: Provides hedging and other risk and financial resources optimization solutions to a variety of counterparties including corporates, financial institutions, finance companies, insurers and asset managers (real and smart money and private capital). Works closely with the CIB Banking Capital Optimization and Returns function to identify and execute capital efficient solutions for the target loan portfolio within credit and market risk limits. Manages the relevant book?s risk exposures over time. Ongoing interaction with the internal control functions and strong involvement with the approval process from the business standpoint. Supporting the build out of the relevant infrastructure for the booking of transactions, on-going management and monitoring. Responsibility for independently (or as part of a team) working with market liquidity providers and/or handling transactions. Individuals at this level have a strong knowledge of the marketplace & account base and must develop an understanding of the broader firm?s products and services offerings. Required Qualifications: 7+ years of Securities Trading experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in capital markets, industry experience within the specific sector of the position, or a combination of both Bachelor?s degree in business or related field Strong understanding of modelling and trading Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills Strong analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail Leadership experience, either formal or informal Familiarity with Bloomberg terminal Experience in VBA or other scripting language Job Expectations: This position follows in office expectations This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
