Duties And Responsibilities

This position reports to the Law Enforcement Information Technology (LEITS) Manager within the Technology/Communications Section and is responsible for providing systems administration and 2nd tier support within the LEITS Operations team. The LEITS Operations team provides installation, implements, maintains and supports distributed computer systems, including hardware, software, and communications components. It also supports the department?s desktop and laptops and other related peripherals in the field locations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
? Knowledge of distributed processing operations, procedures, and equipment.
? Skill in deploying and administering Windows 7 and Windows 10.
? Skill in configuration and use of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.
? Skill in configuration and use of the Semantic Endpoint Suite.
? Skill in configuration and use of mobile device management solutions.
? Skill with enterprise deployment solutions for desktop operating systems.
? Knowledge of the HP Service Manager product.
? Knowledge of information security best practices.
? Skill in remotely troubleshooting and resolving technical incidents.
? Skill troubleshooting and administering of Windows scripting techniques.
? Knowledge of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) concepts.
? Ability to process information logically, analyze technical problems, and solve abstract problems.
? Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments.
? Ability to handle multiple priorities and assignments.
? Ability to train other staff members.
? Process development, implementation and improvement skills.
? Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
? Demonstrated ability to apply technology solutions to business processes.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to the applicants with the following experience:
? Implementing and administering enterprise two factor authentications;
? Administering and troubleshooting centrally managed enterprise desktop deployment solutions;
? Implementing and administering Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM);
? Working in a mobile environment;
? Troubleshooting and resolving technical incidents remotely.

Job Related Requirements
? The position you are applying is subject to a Level 2 background check, along with Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) clearance, to include a fingerprint-based check of the criminal records of the FBI, as a condition of employment pursuant to Chapter 110.1127, 435 and 943, Florida Statutes. Please note that, since this position requires CJIS clearance, the Department will have access to all an applicant?s criminal and juvenile delinquency records, even those that have been sealed or expunged.
? This position requires the incumbent to have and maintain a valid driver?s license in good standing. This means there can be no cancellations, suspensions, or revocations for a minimum of three years prior to employment and for the duration of employment. There can be no more than three chargeable crashes or any violation of Chapter 316, Florida Statutes, during any consecutive three-year period prior to and throughout employment.
? Travel with overnight stays on short notice is required.
? Selected applicants must be able to drive a full size van or car.

General Information
? The elements of the selection process may include a skill assessment and/or oral interview.
? Applicants being considered for employment will be required to submit to a fingerprint-based background investigation, which will include a check of the criminal history records of the FBI. Fingerprints and associated information/biometrics will be retained in the FBI?s Next Generation Identification (NGI) system and fingerprints may continue to be compared against fingerprints submitted to or retained by NGI.
? FLHSMV employees are paid once a month on the last workday of each month. All state employees are required to participate in the direct deposit program pursuant to s. 110.113 Florida Statutes.
