As the Market President, you will be the ?face of Valley? in the Orlando community, embodying our brand and values both internally and externally. You?ll build a team of talented Middle Market Relationship Managers, you will be instrumental in recruiting and retaining top-tier talent. This is a player/coach role, and the Market President will bring in business and hold a portfolio.
Our ideal candidate is someone who excels in business development and enjoys the challenge of bringing new clients to the bank. You will work with companies generating $50 million+ in revenue, focusing on loan sizes above $15 million, particularly in the C&I sectors such as manufacturing, law firms, professional services, service companies, not for profits, etc. The candidate should be deeply rooted in the Orlando market, with their C&I COIs based in Orlando, and it would be great if they have spent many years in this market.
The Market President's primary function is the sales and service performance of their market. This includes not only the business plan objectives in the annual budget for loan, deposit and non-interest income growth but also compliance with all regulatory requirements. This position is also responsible for ensuring that the company fully serves its customers, stockholders, and associates and further utilizes their background and experience to support the efforts and initiatives of the senior executive management team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
? Ensures that the Bank achieves budgeted performance for earnings, asset quality and growth in core deposits, new client relationships, and non-interest income.
? Develops, plans and executes strategies that are consistent with regulatory objectives for capital adequacy, liquidity and risk management. This should include proper adherence to all banking statutes and supervisory initiatives from Bank Secrecy to Information Security, et al.
? Create and maintain an environment and culture that serves to attract, retain and develop associates.
? Ensures that incentive plans are implemented with senior leadership to develop, implement and facilitate the company's strategic plan.
? Serves as relationship manager for top clients.
? Comply with all regulations pertaining to BSA, USA PATRIOT ACT, and OFAC. Complete annual BSA training. Report suspicions of criminal activity, or any attempt to avoid BSA reporting requirements on the part of customers or employees, to the AML/BSA Compliance Department. For supervisory positions, ensure BSA training requirements are completed by staff.
