RF Test Engineer

The RF Test Engineer will play a vital role in supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) for mobile handset RF protocol, including machine setup and RF test script development. Responsibilities include providing technical training, developing and optimizing operational procedures, collaborating with OEMs, and contributing to special projects as assigned by the Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities
? Smartphone RF script setup and radiated shield box profile configuration for CMW-500 (4G) and CMX (5G) cellular protocol RF machines.
? Obtain technical information from OEM?s and develops operational process documents as part of NPI process.
? Proactively evaluate processes and ensure they are being followed.
? Assess, collaborate, design and implement special projects lines as directed by Engineering Manager.
? Evaluate and assess problems, define and implement solutions or corrective actions in a timely manner.
? Determine the best process for use by technical employees to ensure the highest possible level of productivity.
? Coordinate training and cross training of designated personnel.
? Implement and monitor systems to ensure proper operation.
? Developing RBOM?s from Technical information provided by OEM?s is a plus.
? Meet daily goals and NPI schedules set by Engineering Management.

Qualifications
? Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, and/or over ten years of experience with advanced knowledge through a combination of experience and continuing education; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
? Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
? Advanced computer skills, repair / diagnosis, operation.
? Developing RBOM?s form Technical information provided by OEM?s is a plus.
? 2-4 years experience with Cellular RF equipment and writing scripts for devices such as CMU-200, CMW-500.
? 1-3 years wireless/cellular industry supporting repair lines on engineering level.
? Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and electronic schematics.
? Ability to communicate with all level of employees and OEM?s, read, write and speak English fluently.
? Experience in wireless OEM and Aftermarket software and hardware.
? Technical document writing Skills ? develop SOP?s for final testing and repair operations processes.
? RF Component level repair experience a plus but not mandatory.

? Sitting at a desk, viewing and/or creating documents
? Non-climate and climate-controlled warehouse environment, mid to high background noise.
