CAD Drafting Technician

PrideStaff is looking for a CAD Drafting Technician for a client located in Arvada.
This is a temp to hire opportunity based on client need and employee performance.

CAD Drafting Technician Duties: ? Produce CAD drawings for design, sheet metal manufacturing, floorplans, riser diagrams, and details that vary in size and scope ? Receive design documentation and produce submittal drawings ? Recreate designs to fit into standard size ? Use FA experience to help develop prefabrication solutions ? Create point to point wiring details ? Maintain and track project drawing files, associated records and documentation ? Review own drawings and co-workers drawings for quality and accuracy CAD Drafting Technician Requirements: ? Extensive working knowledge of AutoCAD software and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) ? Experience using AutoCAD to create detailed electronic working plans, charts, and scale drawings for the manufacturing industry ? Ability to analyze design sketches and specifications to create technical drawings ? Knowledge of engineering practices and industry standards ? Strong attention to detail to ensure drawings are accurate ? Communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with other professionals ?
