Remote Python/JavaScript Developer Jobs

About the role:

We, at Turing, are looking for remote Python/JavaScript developers who will be responsible for writing server-side web application logic and implementing the front-end logic for web applications. Here?s your chance to accelerate your career while working with top U.S. firms.

Responsibilities:

• Develop back-end components and user-facing features
• Write testable, reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements
• Test and debug the web applications
• Perform code analysis, requirements analysis, and software reliability analysis
• Reprogram existing databases to improve functionality

Requirements:

• Bachelor?s/Master?s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of experience as a Python/JavaScript developer (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
• Proficiency in Python, its frameworks (Django, Flask, etc.), and its libraries (NumPy, TensorFlow, etc.)
• Proficiency in JavaScript, its libraries (React) and frameworks (Angular, Vue, Ember.js, Express.js, Node.js)
• Expertise in front-end technologies including HTML5 and CSS3
• Knowledge of JavaScript module loaders, such as Require.js and AMD
• Expertise in server-side templating languages
• Experience in databases, including schemas and ORMs
• Good understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms
• Fluent in English to communicate effectively
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
