WHAT YOU?LL DO

As a Dispatcher, you will play a key role as the first line of response in emergent and non-emergent calls.
? Coordinate the work and activities of EMTs, First Responders, MAV Drivers, and Nurses during emergent and non-emergent transports
? Be courteous and professional to patients, facility employees, co-workers, supervisors and the public at all times
? Receive, prioritize and dispatch calls in computer aided dispatch software (CAD)
? Intake large volume of calls and determine appropriate level of EMS response required
? Operate radio communication devices, multi-line telephone system and various computer systems

WHAT YOU?LL NEED
? Dispatch experience is preferred but not required
? Proficient computer skills
? Excellent communication skills
? Ability to work in high pressure situations
? Clean background check
? Negative drug screening
