Personal Banker 1 Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Personal Banker 1 to join our team. As a key member of our branch, you will be responsible for providing exceptional banking services to our customers while promoting sales and service strategies. ? Successfully complete on-going training programs, including Personal Banker 1 and Teller 1 training. ? Perform various teller transactions, open deposit accounts, input consumer loan applications, and navigate the loan process. ? Support sales and service strategies that build relationships and promote needs-based selling. ? Adhere to bank policies, procedures, and banking regulations. Key Responsibilities: ? Maintain confidentiality of customer information and activities. ? Promote and achieve accuracy and quality in branch work. ? Recognize and act on opportunities to achieve assigned sales and service goals. ? Become proficient with job-related systems and equipment. ? Participate in the general upkeep and appearance of the Branch. ? Participate in available training opportunities. Requirements: ? High school graduate or equivalent. ? Minimum one year retail banking experience in sales and customer service. ? Excellent customer service skills. ? Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. ? Basic math aptitude and proficiency. ? Knowledge of bank accounting principles. ? Ability to learn and utilize new technologies. ? Knowledge of general banking products and services. Preferred Qualifications: ? One year work experience at First National Bank and Trust preferred.
