We are seeking an experienced <strong>Workday Cutover Lead</strong> to oversee and manage the cutover process for our <strong>Workday implementation</strong>. This is a <strong>100% remote opportunity</strong>, but candidates must be located in the <strong>Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone</strong> to align with project schedules and team collaboration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in <strong>Workday system implementations, data migrations, and cutover planning</strong>, ensuring a seamless transition from legacy systems to Workday.

As the <strong>Cutover Lead</strong>, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and executing cutover activities, working closely with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams. You will be responsible for <strong>risk mitigation, timeline management, stakeholder communication, and post-go-live support</strong> to ensure a smooth transition. <h3><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h3> <h4><strong>Cutover Planning & Execution</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Develop and manage the <strong>Workday cutover strategy, timeline, and execution plan</strong> for system go-live.</li> <li>Coordinate <strong>pre-cutover, cutover, and post-cutover</strong> activities, ensuring minimal business disruption.</li> <li>Define and document cutover tasks, responsibilities, dependencies, and sequencing.</li> <li>Establish cutover checkpoints, readiness criteria, and go/no-go decision gates.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Collaboration & Stakeholder Management</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Work closely with project managers, Workday functional/technical teams, and business stakeholders to align cutover plans with broader implementation goals.</li> <li>Facilitate regular status meetings and communicate updates to leadership and key stakeholders.</li> <li>Ensure all impacted teams (HR, Finance, IT, Payroll, etc.) are informed and prepared for the transition.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Risk Management & Issue Resolution</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Identify potential cutover risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.</li> <li>Monitor cutover progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.</li> <li>Work proactively to resolve roadblocks and ensure smooth system transition.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Data Migration & Validation</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Oversee data migration activities, ensuring successful data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).</li> <li>Conduct validation checks to confirm data integrity and accuracy post-migration.</li> <li>Partner with testing teams to ensure all business processes function as expected post-cutover.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Post-Go-Live Support & Stabilization</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Provide hypercare support post-go-live, ensuring quick resolution of system issues.</li> <li>Gather feedback from users and refine processes to optimize system performance.</li> <li>Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation for ongoing Workday system maintenance.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Qualifications & Requirements:</strong></h3> ? <strong>Experience:</strong> <ul> <li><strong>5+ years</strong> of experience in <strong>ERP or Workday cutover planning and execution</strong>.</li> <li>Proven experience managing <strong>large-scale system migrations</strong> and cutover strategies.</li> <li>Strong understanding of <strong>Workday HCM, Finance, Payroll, and Integrations</strong>.</li> </ul> ? <strong>Skills:</strong> <ul> <li>Expertise in <strong>cutover project management methodologies</strong> and best practices.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Excellent <strong>problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills</strong>.</li> <li>Proficiency in tools such as <strong>Microsoft Project, JIRA, ServiceNow, and Smartsheet</strong>.</li> </ul> ? <strong>Education & Certifications:</strong> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in <strong>Information Technology, Business, or a related field</strong> (preferred).</li> <li><strong>Workday certifications</strong> in relevant modules (preferred).</li> </ul> ? <strong>Technical Requirements:</strong> <ul> <li>Must be <strong>located in the EST time zone</strong> for effective collaboration.</li> <li>Access to a <strong>quiet home office setup</strong> with a stable internet connection.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Work Schedule & Benefits:</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>100% remote position</strong> with flexibility in work hours.</li> <li>Competitive <strong>salary and benefits package</strong>.</li> <li>Opportunity to work with a dynamic and experienced team on a <strong>high-impact Workday implementation</strong>.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Remote flexibility</strong> ?
