A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Patent Agent to join its Patent Prosecution & Litigation Practice Group, specializing in Electrical Engineering & Software. This role offers the opportunity to engage in high-level intellectual property matters, focusing on drafting and prosecuting patents related to electrical engineering, computer science, and cutting-edge technologies.

Duties:
?Draft and prosecute patent applications in the fields of electrical engineering, software, and computer science.
?Handle patent litigation matters, providing expert guidance to clients.
?Advise clients on intellectual property strategies, portfolio development, and protection.
?Conduct patentability, infringement, and validity analyses.
?Represent clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
?Collaborate with cross-functional teams on prosecution and litigation cases.
Requirements: ?Experience in intellectual property law, with a focus on patent prosecution and litigation. ?Strong background in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related technical field. ?Design engineering experience in chip companies is a plus. ?Preference for expertise in networking, software, and wireless technologies (3G/4G/5G). ?Associate and Patent Agent candidates must be admitted to the USPTO and have 2-6 years of experience. ?All candidates must be a member of the USPTO.
Education:
?Relevant undergraduate degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field).
Certifications:
?USPTO registration required for all candidates.
