Machine Operator

Priority Personnel is seeking a Night Extruder Operator for a manufacturing company located in San Marcos, TX. Position is Direct Hire with the company!

Pay rate: $22.00/hr plus $2.00/hour shift premium

Work Schedule: Rotating 12 hour shifts, 6:00pm-6:00am

Job Duties:
?Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production order
?Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed
?Feed raw material or parts to manual or semi-automated machine
?Inspect parts with precision measuring tools
?Test operation of machines periodically
?Fix and/or report issues that might occur during the shift
?Verify output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
?Keep records of approved and defective units and/or final products
?Maintain daily logs/records
?Follow all safety rules, assure others follow safety rules and correct or report any safety issues immediately

Requirements: ?Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.) ?Understanding of production procedures, manufacturing specifications, etc. ?Basic computer skills for e-mail, record keeping and to access job related work instructions ?Ability to read and write English. ?High school diploma or equivalent
