Retention Agent, Direct Distribution - Personal Lines

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retention Agent for Direct Distribution in our Personal Lines division at Nationwide Mutual Insurance. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for our policyholders, using your exceptional communication and problem-solving skills to retain and grow our business. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, sales, and insurance, along with a passion for building and maintaining relationships. Serve as the primary point of contact for policyholders, addressing their questions, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
Utilize excellent communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with policyholders, understanding their needs and providing appropriate solutions.
Proactively reach out to policyholders to identify opportunities for business growth and retention.
Effectively handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Utilize a deep understanding of insurance products and services to provide accurate and relevant information to policyholders.
Meet and exceed sales and retention targets through effective relationship management and upselling/cross-selling techniques.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in insurance policies and regulations.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures for enhanced customer satisfaction and retention.
