Senior Accountant with Advanced QuickBooks Expertise

Key Responsibilities: ?? Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP. ?? General Ledger Management: Month-end and year-end close processes. ?? Accounts Payable and Receivable: Ensure timely processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions. ?? Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations to maintain accurate cash balances. ?? Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts, providing variance analyses as needed. ?? Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. ?? Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the accounting department. ?? Audit Support: Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Qualifications: ?? Bachelor??s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
?? Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role.
?? Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks; certification is a plus.
?? Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
?? Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
?? Demonstrated ability to work assertively and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
?? Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
?? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
