Special Education Teacher - Adapted Physical Education

Blazer Jobs is seeking a full-time Adapted Physical Education (APE) Teacher in Burbank, IL. This role involves adapting curriculum and working with children aged 3 to 22 with a variety of disabilities, from mild to profound. The APE teacher will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop individualized programming.

Job Responsibilities...
?? Provide adapted fitness and health instruction to students with disabilities.
?? Collaborate with a team to develop individualized programs for students.
?? Adapt curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students.
?? Evaluate and adjust instruction methods based on student progress.

Qualifications: ?? Valid and registered Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a degree in Physical Education. ?? At least one course in Adapted Physical Education required. ?? Experience working with special needs students preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.

Working Conditions:
?? Will follow the work hours of AERO Therapeutic Center.
