You will craft intuitive and seamless solutions for the Disney+ and Star+ Android apps across a variety of devices, including phones, tablets, and TVs. Key Responsibilities: ?? Lead technical initiatives for a wide range of critical aspects, including release processes, remote configuration management, and live production troubleshooting. ?? Take ownership of entire projects from start to finish, ensuring smooth execution and delivery. ?? Maintain a broad understanding of our project's architecture while focusing on the team's overall health and success. ?? Actively seek out leadership opportunities to improve processes, approach challenges with a positive attitude, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. ?? Qualifications:

Required Skills:
?? Proficiency in Reactive Programming and Dependency Injection.
?? Expertise in various architectural patterns (e.g., MVI/MVVM).
?? Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
?? Ability to write clean, efficient code, and create comprehensive tests and documentation.
?? Experience troubleshooting production issues, ideally on a large scale.
?? Proven track record of successfully leading projects from inception to completion.

Preferred Skills:
?? Familiarity with common Android libraries such as Dagger 2/Hilt, RxJava2, Groupie.
?? Experience with Android TV/Amazon Fire TV development.
?? Knowledge of streaming video, codecs, and DRM.
?? Proficiency in maintaining large, modularized codebases.
?? Experience with performance evaluation tools like Android Profiler.

Technical Expertise:
?? Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Dependency Injection, Gradle, Databases, Reactive principles, coroutines.

Education:
?? Bachelor??s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
