Marketing Assistant

Purpose of Position:

You will be the bridge between the client and the shared services team. You will be responsible for ensuring that the GMSS is meeting the client’s needs, working with all the key functions that go into creating the marketing materials output. You will need to constantly solve problems, manage internal and external communications, and drive projects to... completion.

Responsibilities: • Act as the main liaison between clients and the marketing team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of goals. • Understand other departments' needs through a briefing and process client projects, ensuring all necessary information is captured accurately. • Forward project specs and details to the respective team lead for action. • Manage and provide creative direction to internal and external creative teams based on other departments' briefing, including designers, copywriters, videographers, and other creative professionals. • Oversee the development and production of various marketing assets, such as digital advertisements, print materials, website content, videos, social media graphics, and more. • Ensure consistency and brand adherence across all marketing creative elements. • Review and approve creative concepts with the requester, storyboards, designs, and copy to ensure they meet brand guidelines and campaign objectives. • Monitor project budgets and timelines to optimize resource use. • Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects align with client expectations and GMSS standards. • Ensure a quick and accurate turnaround and keep the departments informed about the process/ creation and delivery time • Maintain detailed project documentation for transparency and accountability. • Ensure the quality of deliverables and manage client feedback for continuous improvement. • Proofread and create short content materials, ensuring clarity and effectiveness. • Simplify complex themes for understandable communication, aiding clearer client communications and project specifications. • Utilize problem-solving skills and proactivity to address challenges and anticipate potential issues.

Position Requirement:
• Native-level English proficiency with fluency in Spanish is essential.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience is preferred.
• Available to work between 9AM-5PM EST.
• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related discipline.
• Solid background in a comparable marketing or advertising position.
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, capable of nurturing strong connections with clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with ClickUp (preferable).
• Prior writing experience is a plus, offering added value through superior content creation and editing capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, managing multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail.
• A strong commitment to quality, consistently delivering exceptional work.
• Personable, and able to work effectively with a variety of different people.
• Organized, with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Flexible, and able to solve problems.

• Must pass mandatory background checks which may include pre-screenings, illegal drug tests and credit checks
